Head shots are a salutary way to register your face. But a "total figured" women like you should accent her whole behemoth size and do a full body picture. As often as some would shutter at the idea, you want to express them your stuff (junk).

soo_.my mom sent my prf. headshots and body shots to wilhelmina and yeah. but the trouble is. im 5`3.and im 13. and i weigh like 119 i tghink_.so lyk,could i be a plus size model for wilhelmina or not?

Plus size models have to be minimum 5`8″ and you are NOT a plus size model if you only weigh 119lbs. Plus size models need measurements of 42-32-42 or larger which there is no way you are at 119lbs. You get to be a US size 12 or larger to be considered plus size in the model industry

Okay, you want some real, legitimate advice. You do NOT need photos or comp cards before you get signed - there is NO Reason to pass money on photos that will most probably get tossed by any agent who might need to bless you! Hello! Your broker will distinguish you what kinds of photos to take that will get you HIRED by his/her clients - how would you recognize what those might be? And what is your height? You feel short and not that well-proportioned. You want to be capable to contend with girls who are presently working - do you believe you can do that? OH MY GOSH - photogs do NOT provide transport to shoots! Are you kidding me? It simply does not happen!I`m totally here to help, not blow smoke up your back like some of these other people. There are requirements for plus size models, and they include height and size restrictions. They are as bad for plus size models as they are for straight size ones. You want to be at least 58 (510 is preferred in the larger markets like NYC, Miami, L.A. etc. so might be on the poor side but you feel young_) and descend between sizes 8 and 16/18. Yes, plus sizes start at size 8 as far as agencies are concerned. You want to be well-proportioned, toned and in good shape, have great skin, hair and teeth (your teeth look a small dark - better start whitening them!), and be quite photogenic - let`s not forget - we`re talking about MODELING. It also helps if you make few, if any, tattoos.
If you experience these things loss for you, I encourage you to assist an open call at an office near you that represents plus size models. You can witness one by calling agencies that are listed in your local yellow pages and asking if they rep plus size girls, and then asking when their plus size open calls occur. You will want to get in presence of an agent who will determine your marketability in this diligence and suggest you accordingly. Walk in wearing light makeup, simple but well-fitting clothing, and miss the high heels - they will experience how marvellous you are so don`t try to manipulate it. Bring some simple shots of yourself that display your present and your entire body - they don`t want to be professional shots. They will wait at your photos and will see your potential without all the makeup. You may be calculated on the spot, or asked to be photographed in your underwear, so get rid of your inhibitions NOW.
You want to be in or close a large marketsmaller towns dont usually have modeling agencies, let alone plus size divisions. Your competition knows where to go, and they are going there, believe me. You can be stunningly beautiful, but if you cant give it to an open call or casting because you go too far off and cannot move at the fall of a hat, you definitely have a strike against you. Your competitor is thrilled to bed that you don`t let the money for a bus ticket or that your car is in the shop - means more chance for them!
If you are marketable, the broker will ask you to do several test shoots that you get to pay for, so please be set to pass money and time developing your look. Agencies DO NOT pick up these feesthe model must do so. (You will want to pass money to get your career off the ground - modeling is not a get-rich-quick career. If you have kids and/or school to finish, you need to contrive how you`re going to rest it all. The top agencies require that you spend money on your growth as a model - it is NOT a cheap undertaking! You do not pay money to an agency but you will get to pay your photographers, your hair stylists, your makeup artists, your fashion stylists, etc. Why spend the money on these people without getting input from an agent? You might get to reshoot everything if you do this all on your own without consulting an agency - can you give to do that?
You may be asked to cut/trim/color your hair, get manicures and pedicures and to hit the gym before the shoot. You will be granted a number of photographers that you can claim to schedule a shoot, and you will pay them directly. A good agency will never ask for money directlyits a dealing between you and the photog. If you need to get the most out of your test shoots, you should take a makeup artist, hair stylist and fashion stylist to run on the film with you.
When your shots come back, your potential agent will see if you get what it takes, and then she/he will take your photos to clients and see what sort of reaction you get. They usually submit a comp card, which is a compendium of photos that you want to pay for, to the clients to get their feedback. There are no guarantees, and you leave just go if clients like/need your look.
You can call the plus size modeling thread at www.curvychick.com and get advice from working models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists and others inside the industry. Take any support you get with a texture of salt - there are enough of women who will say that you`ve "got it," but they usually just need to be dainty and not hold a deal in dashing your dreams (sort of like that other poster who I really doubt is a framework OR an agent). I personally don`t need a script in misleading anyone. AND if somebody says you don`t actually make it, don`t carry it personally - you`re not being judged as a person, not on your looks, but on your marketability - if you can`t get the passion you should happen another career.

You suffer a lifelike beauty and beautiful eyes so you def have a natural look so that is awesome. However, even plus size models have "criteria." You didn`t read any full body pictures and even plus size modeling takes the smaller of "plus sizes" or a lot of plus size models are toned you recognise what I mean?
They may be 14/16 but are spirit and somewhat firm, no belly hanging out or anything like that. I trust you aren`t taking any crime but precisely because its plus size doesn`t imply that they won`t be too critical. Modeling agencies need someone that is diverse so they want people who are passing to feel well in a bathing suit too. I don`t love your body though so you could be all set for all I know. I`m only telling you how it`s release to be.
Anyway, have you seen the models on Torrid? Their bodies are well toned especially the lingerie models, so it`s still highly competitive. I`m certain you can do it. You should post pictures of your total self, you want to be comfortable taking pictures of your whole body if you need to be a model. You are still gorgeous so hopefully I don`t sound discouraging. I`m just telling you what you should expect. I say go for it if you truly wish it for yourself. Good luck.

I truely believe that the manufacture is bull, do people not see the problem nowadays? Young girls are starving themselves, we take more and more girls that are becoming bulimic and anorexic! It`s horrible.

you dont have 2 take any of my advice, but i believe you should have some piks of urself in a different pose, have a search on some model websites
then u can see if u loook good in other poses, cause a model needs more than one pose
